The aims and objectives of the society are as follows;
To promote and develop sericulture, agriculture, horticulture, apiculture & allied farming.
To work for development and welfare of poor farmers.
To act for the welfare of the children, destitute women & youth, orphans, backward classes and disabled persons irrespective of caste and creed.
To undertake literacy mission to eradicate illiteracy and to promote technical and vocational trades.
To provide skill upgradation and vocational training to unemployed youth, women and weaker section etc.
To take up sanitation programme in the rural and hilly areas to promote the hygienic way of life.
To promote the production and preservation of various medicinal herbs and research works on indigenous treatments.
To promote research work and development of dialects of different communities.
To publish books, magazines, periodicals, pamphlets, notes etc. on various topics, trades. Thesis, research, study courses for benefit of the public.
To explore, develop and preserve the tourism, historical and archeological sites.
To help directly or indirectly the government and other agencies for implementation of developmental and welfare programmes.
To take up housing programmes for the poor and needy people.
To take up health care and family welfare programmes.
To work for preservation of drug abuses and other intoxicants.
To take up programmes for prevention of AIDS, HIV and other epidemic diseases.
To organise conventions, seminars, symposium and workshop on developmental activities for the welfare of the people.
To promote handloom, handicraft and Khadi & Village based industries.

To raise fund by receiving donation of subscription from the members, public, government, semi government and other financial institutions or agencies for utilization for the welfare of the people.
